Alex
Alex had almost forgotten about the fact that Sara is a werewolf, at least as much as you can forget that a friend is able to rip a car door off its hinges. In truth, it excited him to know that he was close to something uncanny in a world he was almost certain held no such surprises. It doesn't hurt that they generally get along, having hit it off on the evening of their meeting- the very same night on which Sara saved him. She was very surprised when he was able to recognize her even as a werewolf, but he was agreeable to keeping it secret. Over time they remained friends and often spent time together. Alex felt she was oddly attentive towards him... but it was probably nothing.
Sara
Sara is a werewolf and has been her entire life. She has had a romantic interest in her long-time friend Alex for a while now and at the start of the comic is looking for just the right way to make a her move. It helps that Alex has known about her status as a lycanthrope ever since she was forced to save him after an unfortunate car accident. Just how receptive he will be to the advances of someone who happens to be a monster remains to be seen.
